Blogging, as fun as it is, also takes a lot of work.
Part of the reason that I started this blog was to create breadcrumbs. The breadcrumb approach, as defined by Derek Lewis, is to create small pieces of marketing to publish. The point is to create a steady stream of them so that potential clients can find you.
And while I do want more clients, I've also found that blogging is taking more time than it should.
I'm a ghostwriter and I want to be helping people write books. Therefore, with this goal in mind, I've decided to start another book project.
The goal here is to write a book, get it published, and use that as a marketing push. Books, after all, are great marketing tools and can be breadcrumbs for years to come. They also solidify authority. While it'll take a good year to get this done, I figured I'd do it for myself.
And, to be honest, I like book writing way more than I like blogging.
It also doesn't hurt that other authors have advised strongly against daily blogging. Which makes sense.
Anyway, if you're reading this, thank you for taking the time to read my little blog. If you're looking to hire me for my services, then email or give me a call, I'd love to talk about your book.
